A Personal Professional Portfolio

This portfolio represents most (if not all) of my web and print projects. I have started creating websites since 1996 (my first target browser then was still Lynx - a text-only browser), honed my skills, and a year after that, have started to publish a handful of websites, for various international and local businesses, and for the local entertainment industry.

STRENGTH #1 - Intuitive User Interface Design
My strength has always been in the area of User Interface Design development -- creating intuitive interfaces. Most of my projects are visually professionally and intuitively designed. Target users never had problems using the websites or web applications that I have designed.

Good User Interface = Visual Layout + Information Structure

STRENGTH #2 - Website and Information Structuring
A website's content and information and how they are structured and presented is very crucial to a website's or an application's sucess. Structured navigation (how a user goes through one section to another), appropriate content (how much information would be too much for a user to appreciate), and good use of a computer screen's real estate to display information and content are also areas in which I strongly specialize in.

OTHER STRENGTHS - Middleware/Database Programming, Client-side scripting
I can develop web applications ranging from simple (fetching values from database) to complex (such as website portals, internal web applications like billing and payments management, and customer relationship management tools) using ASP or PHP (or any other middleware languages, I just need a reference lookup). I can make a web-based application perform and feel like a regular desktop application using extensive client-side scripting (using JavaScript). I also have extensive experience in working with Relational Database Managemement Systems (RDBMS) - planning, creating and linking tables, writing stored procedures and various database queries.
